my first show breed which is still my focus is the Keeshond. Since then I have also shown and bred Champion Boxers and Whippets (and sparingly shown Hungarian Vizsla’s, Dalmatians and German Spitz).  I have also handled many other breeds in all groups over the years.

I have bred and/or owned and titled over 80 Keeshonds to Champion, Grand Champion and Supreme Champions in the USA, Canada, UK, NZ and Australia - most with multi BIS, BIG and BISS show wins.  In Boxers the same can be said for 8 of the breed and 2 in Whippets. Formerly breeding under the Calivale prefix and now Hunkeedori Keeshonds, I have been Australia’s # 1 Keeshond breeder and exhibitor for many years.

Currently my male Keeshond, Australian Supreme Ch Calivale Katch Me If U Kan ET (Bolte) achieved in 2011 the number one rising star all breeds in Australia and in 2011, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 the # 1 Keeshond nationally and one of the top twenty dogs (all breeds) in the country, with 2016 ranked #5 All Breeds and #1 Non Sporting Dog in Australia and furthermore the NSW Show Dog of the Year recipient and Victorian Dog of the Year Runner Up – an enormous achievement and set of attainments for 2016. To date, Bolte has won 52 All Breed Best In Show awards, 28 Reserve All Breeds Best in Show awards, over 150 Group 1sts, 6 Specialty BISS and 3 RBISS achievements and was recently crowned as the breed world record holder - the biggest winning Keeshond in the history of the breed. Until recently I have also shown the #1 Boxer in Australia who at only 3 years old and had attained 20 Best in Show awards and over 60 Groups 1st awards with achievements such as at the 2014 National Boxer Show where he was awarded BIS2 at 16 months old, Australian Supreme Ch Chizack Catweazle (Kevin).

Over the years, I have been fortunate to attend, judge and handle at dog shows in many countries of the world.  In 2005 I commenced judging with the Non Sporting Group. I have judged in both the all breeds and specialty show rings including the German Shepherd specialty ring.  I completed my judges training to become all breeds in May 2014 with the completion of the Gundog Group.  I have judged many breeds, groups and BIS across Australia and in New Zealand, Brazil, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, The Philippines, China, Taiwan, Japan, Finland and the USA. In recent times I have given several breed lectures to trainee judges on a number of breeds, including Keeshonds, and in 2013 judged part of Keeshond National Specialty week in the USA.
